Baker, Theodore (1851-1934)

Theodore Baker, geboren am 3. Juni 1851 in New York, studierte Musikwissenschaft in Deutschland. Nach seiner Promotion an der Universität Leipzig war er als Herausgeber der Schirmer Music Company beschäftigt (1892-1926). Er verfaßte u. a. ein "Biographical Dictionary of Musicians" (1900). Baker starb am 13. Oktober 1934 in Dresden.
